I have new TB, DSG, battery, and alternator installed but I'm wondering if this is a classic case of the MAF gone bad. The car would turn over but would not start for some time - eventually got it started earlier tonight and re-parked in my garage. Today on my way to school, I went to accelerate out of the cul-de-sac (cold engine and cold morning) and the throttle did nothing - and essentially stalled on me. I've also noticed a gradual increase in power loss when accelerating - I will accelerate gradually, and it won't use 100% of the power, it will sort of accelerate like 50% of the way, then realize it's only at 50% and then 'notch/lurch up' to 100%. When she's cold and I have to come to a sudden stop outside of my cul-de-sac, it's like it doesn't know how to handle it and the engine will start to sputter rather intensely (it feels as though the e-brake is on but you're still driving - if that makes sense) - it's been weird and uncharacteristic of my car to do. Lately, my girl's been running a bit rough. I think I already know the answer to this but I wanted to verify with the experts here.
